A bad translation will inevitably leave a bad impression with the recipients - an impression of low quality and unprofessionalism. In the worst case, it might even result in misunderstandings with serious consequences.

There is more to translation than simply changing words from one language into another. Translation means making you understand a foreign text. Translation means making a foreign audience understand your texts. Translation means breaking down language barriers.
Different texts have different purposes. But a translation always has one purpose - to reach the audience in the target language.

The price of a translation always depends on the type of text and its length as well as the intended purpose of the translation.
We generally calculate our rates based on the number of words in the source text. Special texts, e.g. word lists or other non-phrased texts, as well as other language services, like proofreading, editing etc., are generally charged on an hourly basis.
A surcharge will be added for source texts not in a digitally processable format.
A surcharge will also be added for texts which require extensive formatting and for other additional services.
Any copying or printing costs or postage will be charged as well.
If you are planning to publish your translated text, we will have a native speaker proofread our translation, which will also be charged separately.

Proofreading includes correction of grammar and spelling mistakes as well as simple stylistic improvements. More extensive correction/editing of texts and checking for accuracy must be arranged separately.
Proofreading is charged per page (DIN A4, font size 12, line spacing 1.5) or fraction thereof. For texts shorter than 10 pages a minimum of 10 pages will be charged.

However, learning a language is not always a piece of cake. That's something else many children come to realize sooner or later. For many students, languages are the most difficult subjects at school.
We have therefore set ourselves the goal of making it easier for students to learn languages. And since we are convinced that learning a language properly is only possible if students are motivated, we are always trying to combine the learning process with fun and enjoyment.
Our many years of experience have shown that students who like coming to their tutoring lessons will learn more in the long run - and consequently, they will be better motivated for school.
There are many reasons why students might feel uncertain about a subject at school; a lack of basic knowledge, a change of teachers, absence due to illness, insufficient explanations at school, etc. Whatever the reason, uncertainty usually results in stress, demotivation and often bad grades.
Our goal is to help our students clear their uncertainties, close knowledge gaps and discover how much fun there is in languages.
To achieve that, we will teach the basic rules of grammar and style, look at different sorts of texts and practice reading, writing and listening skills. In our position as language experts, we will try to clear any questions or doubts and motivate your child to learn languages with fun and enthusiasm.
In return, we expect your child to actively participate in the learning process by asking questions, always taking all their school books and notes to our lessons and showing interest.
We promise to do our best to introduce your child to the exciting world of languages. However, we cannot perform miracles, and we certainly cannot promise that your child will write good grades if there is no co-operation and willingness to learn.

In our experience, every student takes a different approach to language learning. Thus, we generally recommend one-to-one lessons. We do, however, offer group lessons under certain circumstances...
We offer lessons for groups of 2 - 5 students.
We also offer special courses for students who are preparing for their final exams, for a listening comprehension exam or for other exams.

In order to be as flexible as possible and arrange our lessons in accordance with our students' timetables at school, we generally offer lessons of 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes. Lessons will be charged per hour.
For one-to-one lessons, we charge € 20.-- per full hour (60 minutes).
